A great tip (if not a slightly fume-y one!) to share with you today. If you're trying to remove a sticky residue, such as what is left behind after picking off a price tag or label - a bit of lighter fluid on a soft cloth should wipe that mess right away.
Just don't breathe too deeply while you're doing it! ;) Or you'll be a bit loopy by the end.
Easy 3-step Solution to cleaning for all 'happy slobs' out there who'd rather be doing anything BUT cleaning! Great for busy parents, college kids - anyone who's laid back about their cleaning routine, but needs a little encouragement. All about cleaning, house & home, organizing, etc. By a laid back 'Happy Slob' for others of her kind.

Club Soda to Clean (or Shine Up) Cars
Last week we went on an awesome road trip - winding through the roads of interior British Columbia, enjoying the gorgeous scenery and basically just being glad to get away from the hustle, bustle and busy-ness of the city. But, our car didn't get the better end of the clean stick, if you know what I mean. In fact, it was a pretty sad little bug cemetary by the end of the trip.
So - when I mentioned to a friend last night that club soda is really useful for cleaning, he asked if it might also work on shining the car! He's going to give it a try, and so am I. Will report back on the results. I'm not sure if it'll do the trick on our bug guts situation...my guess is it's a better Shiny Cleaner, not de-bugger. Oh, those poor bugs...
PS> If YOU have a great tip for washing the car, post it! Or email it to me at christina at happyslob.com Thanks fellow slobbos!
