Tip for Pets with Fleas: Brewers Yeast Helps

Not exactly a cleaning tip, more of a household tip I guess. :) I've heard that brewer's yeast in either powdered or tablet form is a helpful and natural way to fight fleas on your pets. With the powder brewers yeast, you can actually add it right to their food. Have any of you tried this?
