Time to Grab Your Trusty Mop...Cleaning the Floors

Look down if you dare.

Yikes! That floor is definitely helping us maintain our Happy Slob nickname. About once a week or so, you should grab your trusty mop and clean those mucky floors. A spray bottle full of our favorite all-purpose cleaner (about 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water) and a sponge mop should do the trick nicely.

Get to it slobbos! Those floors are just SCREAMING for some attention. :)

P.S. Scuff marks? One slobbo recommended a tennis ball -- just rub it on the scuffed part of the floor and scuff marks be GONE.

Thanks for the reminder - boy my kitchen floor helps me maintain my slobbo status! LOL!

Take care,

This may be a wee bit off the wall (pun totally intended), but my cat (psychotic female type) pees on the front door all the time. I keep the area clean and I use a urine odor eliminator from the pet store. Her litter box is a self-cleaning one and it is always clean, so there is no excuse for her to do this. Any suggestions????

Vinegar solution and a sponge mop? That's all?

DH has this huge, industrial-size mop system that, frankly, is too big for me to handle. I'll try the sponge mop. Thanks for the tip!

I researched the internet & any acid cleaners (vinegar, lemon, orange juice, etc.) are very bad for tile floor. I assume you were referring to another floor surface?Oh,I understand sponge mops aren't good to use on tile floors as double-looped cotton mops. Please let us know as I have tile floors (not marble)I need to clean.
Thanks
