Have a bottle of this stuff in the cupboard, seemingly useless? Nope. Cream of tartar mixed with some fresh lemon juice until you have a nice thick paste is a fantastic scrubby cleaner AND more importantly -- it really works great at getting out stains from your white clothes. Cool, huh?
You can even try this: mix up the cream of tartar and lemon paste, slop it on the offending stain, and set it out in the sun. :) A perfectly natural, pretty darn cool way to naturally bleach out stains without using bleach! Then just pop it in the laundry as usual.
