Speaking of Vinegar: Great Apple Cider Vinegar Tip for Winter

My husband is currently suffering with a nasty cold, and I've been researching natural remedies. :) I happened to find this one that I wanted to share with all of you...

When you first begin to feel a cold coming on - drink a little apple cider vinegar (1-2 tbsps) in a bit of water a few times a day. Apparently it helps to balance your body's natural pH, which gets misaligned when you have a cold. You can also use it in lukewarm water as a throat gargle to reduce sore throats!

I put mine in a cup of hot water and pretend it is tea. You have to have an imagination though. It will grit your teeth a bit-LOL
Sometimes I add honey- about 1 teaspoon. huggles me

Boo! Now I'm going to need to take it too. :) Even though we tried to be careful, I'm getting sick now too.

I'll do a bit more research on exactly what amounts of apple cider vinegar to water should be taken, and I'll use myself as a guinea pig! hehe

Any other tips for getting over colds - please post!
