When in doubt about almost ANY type of cleaning job or stain, there is very little that can go wrong when you try baking soda.
I use a baking soda paste to clean tough stains off the wall, to scrub sinks and tubs clean, to deodorize the kitty litter box, to clean the carpet (and freshen it up at the same time) and much more.
Get yourself a HUUUUUGE box of baking soda, because as a Happy Slob Housecleaner you're going to need it. :)

PS. You can also feel GOOD about using baking soda to clean. It's easier on the health of you and your family and pets, and healthier for the environment too.
